The Dairy is an incredible addition to the Bala area. The restaurant area is very clean and well maintained for pleasant dining. The food is pretty good across the board and enough variety to keep everyone happy. Today I got a tuna bagel sandwich but I usually get a salmon sandwich that is incredible. In the past, my kids have really enjoyed the pizza and ice cream. The pricing is competitive and priced right to make it a regular stop for all ages and types from high school kids to business meetings. In response to some of the other reviews I just read, when training new employees, the service does get slower and it can add 15 minutes to the visit which is unfortunate but normally I am in and out in less than thirty minutes after eating a relaxed meal. My only frustration is when they run out of salmon because it is that good!

I'm from New York, so I'm not easily impressed with kosher restaurants. The Dairy blew my mind! It's stunning, roomy, the food is great, it has a cute fire place, a porch for outdoor seating, a private room, a great country house / authentic farm feel, and insanely good gelato that is hard to find in NY. We need a place like this in the city (it would be really really packed!)

Ordering takeout should be relatively easy. The two times I did here however, I felt like I was trying to explain quantum physics to the person answering the phone. Pizza is average. Fries are pretty good.

Just picked up some sandwiches and a salad for takeout. The Caesar salad with Parmesan cheese was delicious, filling and fairly priced. I will be back. In case anyone needs to know, I was told their hours are Sunday through Thursday, 7:00AM to 9:00PM, Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:00PM.

Excellent food, beautiful restaurant, friendly staff. A lot of effort was put into creating such a wonderful kosher Dairy restaurant. The hours are great-open almost all of the time. Free internet. Also, they have this rewards program via text which got me a slice of pizza for free! Definitely will revisit!!

Nice place for lunch. The salads are great. The pizza is good. Pesto pasta is delicious. It is a good place to come for desert and coffee. Although attractively decorated the lighting is harsh on the eyes. It would be nice if they had real ice tea instead of Snapple.

Soooo delicious, so nicely designed, and so many options! I really think that this is a place my whole family could enjoy, and that includes vey strict kosher members, non-kosher members, small children, health fanatics, donut lovers, and anyone who likes modern clean ambiance and reasonable prices! The breakfast power bowl, or energy bowl, was AMAZING! I'm planning on coming back for another one next weekend! Amongst three adults and two kids, we tasted the Gladwyne pizza (omg good), plain pizza, veg pizza, choc chip scone (delish), sweet cream French toast (no words, none), and eggs Benedict (meh, eggs were watery), and were overall VERY HAPPY! We already planned to come back for salads, sandwiches, and cheese fries!

Very impressed. Not often that you find a legit kosher place with a real chef. Food and prices were great as well

New kosher restaurant on Montgomery ave. pasta and pizza in a cafe atmosphere. Very good pizza, reasonably priced food. Opens at 7:30 for breakfast. Kids menu, and plenty of seating. The first kosher dairy restaurant of a high quality one the main line. They have a bakery and cafe in the restaurant, with a nice selection of ice cream and desserts. There is metered parking on Montgomery ave and parking is available on the side of the restaurant off of Ford road. Excited to have another kosher dining option around.

Stood in line for 20 minutes to buy a "to go" salad. A very elderly woman two people ahead of me was taking awhile, but they should have more than ONE cashier in the deli area for a busy lunch place like this. That would solve the problem. I had to be somewhere and thankfully the man in front of me let me go ahead of him. Cashier was rude and management seemed nonexistent. Very unorganized.

Their food is great (other than the food that is pre-prepared in the fridge, boiled eggs were not fresh at all). It's a shame that they haven't figured out how to use the registers! On numerous occasions I have been waiting a long time for someone to finish ringing up a customer for something simple like a bagel. This morning I was sent to another register because the cashier could not figure out how to ring me up while another customer stepped to the side to continue thinking before finishing their order. The staff seem like they are not trained well in knowing how to have some urgency and attentiveness with customers. Very Disappointing. Please work on a process to get customers in-and-out in timely fashion.

This cute, new, Kosher cafe just became my new best friend! I'm mean I'm pretty sure it's a she because SHE is so cute, clean, and courteous. More than good manners this place has a generous selection of good eats! It's still starting up, but I will definitely be here at the 7am opening for my morning coffee and scone. Need lunch? The tuna sandwich is almost too beautiful to eat, but you'll be glad you did! Delicious and easy on the wallet. If you're looking for a taste of Philly that brings the joy of Kosher befriend the tomato pie. The price and sauce are equally satisfying. I'm looking forward to more gelato during the summer and you should be too! Don't forget to bring a couple friends and a couple quarters for the metered parking lot.

Before embarking on a day of sight-seeing in Philly, I bought a Southwestern Salad at the Dairy Cafe. It was absolutely delicious! They have several different salads and sandwiches available for take-out.

Had breakfast here today and liked the experience.. The omelet, home fries and toast were done beautifully and the service was friendly and helpful.. The place is cozy and charming inside and old fashioned.. I look forward to going back for the gelato and other things.. I think this place is going to be a winner..

Great place. The pizza was terrific. I have had the mushroom, the kale and feta and the eggplant. They were all fantastic. I can not wait to try the rest. The French Onion soup was very tasty but I wish it was the traditional way with a slice of bread and melted cheese on top. The desire look great but I am too hooked on the pizza to get to them. I am afraid this might become a weekly outing for me. Note: Friday afternoon is a little crowded but there is a lot a seating so it was not really a problem.

I had a breakfast burrito. Ok food but slow and expensive. The coffee was pretty good. Parking is tight.
